Student wellbeing

Bowral Public School is committed to explicitly teaching and modelling positive behaviour while supporting all students to be actively engaged in their learning. Student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Through our daily practices and strong partnerships with families, we ensure every student is known, valued, and cared for in a safe and supportive environment.

Our key wellbeing initiatives are embedded within our Positive Behaviour for Learning framework, which promotes and reinforces positive student behaviour and school-wide expectations.

We provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students, with clear behaviour management and support processes outlined in the Bowral Public School Behaviour Support and Management Plan (attached).

Our school-wide rules and expectations are:

- Be a safe, co-operative, kind, and fair learner.

- Engage in our positive awards and behaviour management systems.

- Uphold our values through the consistent use of positive language across the school.

By working closely with families, we foster a safe, inclusive school community where every child is supported to thrive.
