Over the years we have hosted many well-known authors and illustrators.
The children enjoy activities that familiarise them with both the author/ illustrator and their work prior to the visit.
During their time with us, the visitors run sessions with each grade where they talk to the children about their work and show them examples, explain what inspires them and how they go about creating their finished pieces.
Sometimes the children may even get to watch them draw or enjoy a workshop session with them.
